Concierge

OVERVIEW: Concierge is responsible for guest requests as well as all things related to Club Anaheim rooms and guests.  Assisting the front office including Front Desk and Bell Desk to ensure all guests are helped in a timely manner is also an integral part of the Concierge responsibilities.

WORK REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
  • Knowledge of software system to troubleshoot. Preferred Micros Opera Systems
  • Be able to assist Front Desk including: Check-in, check-out and covering Front Desk jobs as well assisting with luggage storage as well as bellman functions.
  • Be knowledgeable of Bell Desk procedures in order to assist when needed
  • Arrange for amenities to be sent to guest rooms
  • Manage the Smart-Sign system and update every Saturday
  • Must work with all aspects of the Front Office including: Creating reports, Management requests, Creating signage, Any other requests that have to do with the front office or our guests
  • Stay updated with future guests by conducting 72hr courtesy calls prior to arrival as well as after departure
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the Opera System
  • Able to fulfill guest requests in a timely manner and able to multitask dealing with several requests at a time
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
  • Must be knowledgeable and possess the ability to perform all clerk essential functions and supportive functions
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time. Perform lobby ambassador duties.
  • Ensuring procedures are followed when dealing with all safety and security issues at the front office.
  • Carry Guest luggage to and from storage closet. Must have the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Front Office experience preferred
  • Hotel experience for at-least one year
  • Bellman experience
